Community Connect

We have been running drop ins at Connect since the early 2000’s starting with a typical soup drop in for those who are homeless and growing from there into the primary front door for anyone who needs to access care in Mendip. Spearheaded by Stephen and Gill Fowler the Connect Centre is a safe place for all offering drop ins, activities, and services for nearly 20 years.

We are a Church that hopes to be the solution at the most difficult times in people’s lives. Empowering people to live life, love life and thrive in life.

“I'm a lot better, you got me here, I have all my medication, I am not depressed anymore, I am taking it slow and relax into it the future and looking forward to having my own house after Supported Accommodation. I can't fault Connect and the work that they have done with me.”

What we do

Community Connect is supporting change in people challenged by complex and multiple needs – such as homelessness, addiction, mental health or other life-controlling issues. We work with key organisations to access services developing professional partnerships so we can continue to offer successful support to even more vulnerable people.

Our skilled and dedicated team provide short, person-centred signposting and support from our drop ins that run throughout the week.
